If you want to stay in the restaurant business, find a classier chain or small restaurant to work for. Maybe you can find a better class of people to work with. Maybe a nice seafood restaurant or a steak house. Only look for upscale places. If you wanted to enter the corporate world, you should look into Human Resources. They have trainers there. (called facilitators) Or maybe try teaching. Sales is a good way to meet and greet people. (food sales) Lots of fun. I did it for l0 yrs. Time to try new things. Don't stay there and waste your talent!
