Default Job Story: lazy salesman at a "no where" job? .....lot attendant at car dealership

You're obviously getting by on your looks. After 25, it's all downhill. Look in the mirror...do you see any crow's feet yet? Hmmm? What about any grey hairs? Just make sure you finish college. Keep hitting the stairmaster since your metabolism will drastically reduce any day now. Try to get married soon, too. I know, I know, you're only 23 but once your looks fade it will be exponentially more difficult. You can always divore later if things don't work out. You can thank me later. Good luck!

psst. Hes not right.

I am in a very similar situation as you my freind. I work in a feild alot like yours only in a different industry. My advice to you is too not sweat the petty aspects of your job. Your boss knows that his salesman are lazy but he keeps them on the pay roll because someone has to do the job, and beleive it or not good people are hard to find. Today everything came together for my big picture. I work for a company with one salesman who graduated from a top shelf college with a top shelf degree.( I allways have thought he was worthless.) While the fancy papers imply alot, it takes are real person to be a salesman. I recently closed a contract on my own, that brought some serious money into my company. Tomorrow morning Im going to meet with the boss. He knows me as a hard working college student who does nothing but tie up everyone elses loose ends and picks up the slack. I think if you keep doing a good job and truely beleive in yourself that it will work in your favor. I, more than anyone, know that what comes around goes around. Stick with it. Hard work pays off, and the man you call your boss: Im sure did his share of dirty work toget to where he is. Just know that nothing goes unnoticed in this world,. I think it is a fair place. If you didnt have a good head on your shoulders you wouldnt have posted that comment on the internet looking for other peoples input. I person who is well read didnt figure it all out on their own. Look at how lazy those salesman are, Learn from their mistakes, Their mistakes will only make you stronger. I think' youve got to learn from other peoples mistakes to be successfull rather than resorting to trial and error. Interpret what other people do wrong and understand their mistakes, besides, nobody lives long enough to make all the mistakes themselves. This world was made for people like you and me. Its ours for the taking, build the self confidence to seize it. I am quickly finding that the world is ready for me, I just have to convince myself that Im ready for it. The future is exciting.

KEEP YOUR HEAD UP. YOU ARE A VERY VALUABLE ASSET TO A CAR DEALERSHIP, I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I WORK FOR A 5 LINE NEW CAR FRANCHISE IN DALLAS TX AS THE NEW CAR DIRECTOR. WITHOUT A GOOD "PORTER" THAT WAS DEPENDABLE MOST CAR DEALERSHIPS WOULD BE IN A HUGE MESS WITH INVENTORY ETC...
