I actually am thinking about starting a doggie daycare. Right now I do dogwalking, crystal and energy healing for pets.

I am workin on it, slowly but surely.

Wow! this hit home! I also work in a chain salon. But commision is easy to make! We do get the customers who say the things your said, and I just have to smile and answer politely, when I really want to say "why the hell did you come here if you are worried about getting a bad cut!" Its nice to vent

i hear ya i work there too and we got a gay guy grabbing our buts and calling us names ect but no one does anything cant keep a receptionist we are always being threatened with pay decreases and so on .

i have worked for supercuts for eight years and i love my job!!
if you were that miserable maybe this type of hard work is not for you. how dare you put down such a wonderful company who does care about their employees, my girls come first as well as our ongoing flow of loyal customers. you sound like you don't work well with people so maybe you should stick to walking dogs!
and for the record the term "supersluts" died off about seven years ago, loser!

I work for Supercuts too, or did untill they drove me to anti-depressants. How do you justify an area supervisor calling the police on a manager for a BANK ERROR! $100 dollars, and that was the third manager they pulled that on for the same amount of money in a three month span! They also have taken our water away and cut off our phone, while Carlton, another Regis salon gets coffee, designer water, tea, coco, and chesse plates, AND mini TVs AT THE STATIONS! The big shits ran off all the good cutters by constantly adding new rule and paperwork to avoid lawsuits and fired the desk help to cut costs. We were down to no receptionist and four employees. We had to answer the phone, sell products, oversee the sign in sheets, all while cutting hair. And on top of that they implied we were stealing because of the lose of profits caused by the walk outs. And when someone is singled out for stealing they just transfer them TO A BETTER STORE, OR PORMOTE THEM, because they're so terrified of lawsuits! I could go on but the complaint my coworks and I are filing with the labor commison will speak for itself. I'm not in a fanchise store with a losey owner this is a corperate store. There are 8 stores in my area all ran the same with similar complaint!!!!!!!!

WOW! IT SEEMS LIKE MOST CHAIN SALONS HAVE THE SAME ISSUES.I HAVE BEEN WITH THE SAME CHAIN SALON FOR 10 YEARS AND I HAVE SEEN IT ALL.ITS REDICULOUS WHAT THEY ASK OF YOU.YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO HAVE A LIFE.AND THE PAYCHECK !THATS A JOKE.

I was at the Supercuts last year, having my son's hair cut for the awards ceremony he was going to go to later that evening. The woman cutting his hair seemed very normal at first, but when she started delicatly running the scissors across his throat, I began to worry. After a whle she let out this horrific scream and stabbed my son in the front of his throat and opened the scissors repeatedly while they were in his throat. I sat off to the side and watched in stunned silence as my son was brutally mutilated right in front of me. The entire time she was yelling something about how George Bush took away her Medicare certificate. After it was all over, I got up, paid and left the store not looking back once.
-By the way, $12 for a haircut, what type of crap is that? She killed my goddamn son!!!!!!!

It is fuuny that you never went to the labor comissioner with all those overtime hours you are getting paid for.
Look You complaining Reno Stylists...why not leave your names...because your all liars. Howabout you got to someone and get things taken care of.
Funny that you have the worst market in the whole company.
Funny you all have the oppurtunity for 401 k's ..insurance..profit sharing and make more per hour than any other stylists in Reno. I won't leave out the paid training..I.E. 40 hours before you can go on the floor. Contests to win fabulous prizes of money and trips...FUNNY YOU ALL HAVE THE LOWEST RETAIL IN THE NATION....YOU WOULD BITCH IF YOU WERE HUNG WITH A NEW ROPE. There are about 3 of you that are even worth a shit. I.E. dependable, good customer service etc. you can all cut hair because you were trained...other than that your jobs are purely charity from the company. And if it so bad GO TO ANOTHER SALON!!
