I don't mind cleaning people's body fluid and looking at naked bodies (both male and female). It is a part of human live.
I feel it is a kind of privilege.
That's why I want to work at GI lab after graduation.
What I am disappointed about nursing is that it is not really a medical field. It is HOLISTIC.
I "LOVE" the medical part (knowledges about diseases, drugs, and physical assessment). I also kindof like taking with patient and support them emotionally. But I hate other "junks" (psychology, "PAPERWORKS", discipline)
I am getting out soon too after graduation (within 5 years after graduation). I want medical field that is more specialized and exciting, I want to know much more about diseases, pathophysiogy, and drugs. I want to be able to help more patient with higher technical skill and higher authority rather than touching their hand or only giving them only emotional support.
I will go from MD or other highly specialized medical fields afterwards. Hope I am not too old at that time.
For me, nursing is only a transient career so that gives me some kind of life experiences.
