I work for a National Company as an accounting clerk but management has a good way of keeping people in check with their job titles. At first I was in "billing", then they changed it to "rep" and now I have graduated to "customer service representative". It makes me sick to my stomache how they treat me there.
Management has their "favorites" that can get away with breaking every policy in the book, but since they are the ones breaking policy, then it's fine and nothing is said about it. The management team at my job sucks with making people feel appreciated. They walk right past my "cubicle" and never say "good morning, or good afternoon", they embarass me in front of others and have demonstrated they plain old don't like me.

I have been an RN for 7 years in the ICU setting. I think going to school where the instructors were all from the airforce was a good idea of how the real world was going to be. My instructors could crack a whip and smile at the same moment. I started out in a level one ICU and stayed there for 4 years. I loved every minute in that ICU because the unit was a team and we took care of EACH OTHER! I'v learned that nurses don't quit bad jobs...they quit bad bosses....they quit bad management. I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me that a main reason people stay at one particular job is their coworkers! Now, that being said....I'v also worked in some really really bad places. In my short 7 years I'v learned that being morally right and just doesn't put groceries on the table or pay the mortgage. Even when staff is low, the census is high and your working with your waders on....it's NEVER looked upon in a good light to SPEAK UP! A hospital is STILL A BUSINESS! Everytime you clock in your playing rulett with your license! There will ALWAYS be politics in the hospital. I can also tell you that running from one job to the next doesn't fix any problems. If I can pass anything on to another nurse it would be this: DON'T mix your job with your life! DON'T tell your personal business at work. LISTEN when someone else knows more than you. DO your work, and be vigilant. DO know the policies of your facility and follow them. PRAY! Take a deep breath and take a BREAK! DON'T expect a pat on the back! People that do not work as a nurse DON'T understand your job or your stress!! SMILE even when you don't want to....and go home to your LIFE! :) Nurses that really like this job have not been in it long enough OR they are management material!

My only tip is create your own style of doing things, its ok if you borrow from other people because eventually you will mold it into your own style. Me, I took alot of styles from people here and people at OWI and now I have a mix of each. Im gonna start posting my picutres so I can see what people think of them so get ready...

Wow, I thank whoever it is who set up this forum. You have saved me from a fortune in college debt and many many more years of work in misery.

Many of things said by nurses themselves are only sadly too true. I myself worked in the emergency room as a health unit coodinator that had twice as many duties as the normal job would entail. I am the most empathetic person you could meet. I have always had a way with the sick and the elderly and had dreamed of the day I would go back to school to be the angels on earth that I considered nurses to be.

My experience working with nurses themselves are much younger than sophmoric! I would call it more around the age of twelve or thirteen. The older nurses on days were quite the opposite and I had got along more than well with every doctor (even the most cranky ones) Then my shift unfortunately overlaps with the night crew. In came the glamour girls, a fortiesh pair who are reliving their twenties. (actually a much more snyde name was given to them by others as I am not one to give out names this way) My first time seeing them I understood completely. They were a pair of "besties" that wore so much makeup you want to scrape it off and wash afterwards. They honestly would scare a child if they were to get up close with either of them! Their hair was in a prom style updo that was laquered with at least a can and a half of final net! I mentioned what I used as makeup, (I like the no makeup look) and they told me it did not work well or look natural on them! (So much for trying to help)

Then, watching them in work was another laugh. One ran at the sight of blood, the other couldn't be around puss!! Why are you in nursing if these things smallest of things bother you?? The first thing they did when they got to work was order-out delivery...food!! Then the sexual harrassment began, who was sleeping with who was uncomfortable, but the constant deep massaging of orderlys on one another was uncomfortable to say the least. A very wealthy farmer came in with an injured employee who obviously wanted to know more about me (I was the single one of the bunch!) and they refused to tell him anything....jealousy in the making! He kept sending in different people to ask who the new nurse was with the long dark hair. I was the only newbie of that description and although I wore nurse attire this was not my title. Then the rude comments directed toward me between them most within earshot began. Being an adult I confronted what I thought was the more down to earth of the two thinking if they knew I heard these hurtful things they would stop. Nope!

Everyone from the time I started the position until months later after confronting this nurse repeatedly told me what a great job I was doing! The docs would walk by and pat me on the shoulder in attaboy fashion.....but no, because I happened to get an unknown gentlemans attention and because they felt they were not getting enough attention, their other buddy...the what had been the current nursing director who I also went to over the demeaning things being said since it never stopped asked me into the office and expected me to sign a paper stating that I was not doing my job well enough! I knew what this was about, refused to sign (but wrote on the bottom this was a case of harrassment, not of job adequacy) and quit on the spot! I am certain this paper was filed into the wastebasket!

When I went to this hospital looking for work preferably in admitting. They gave me this job instead and was told from a good friend of mine that they eat them alive and go through HUC's like no tomorrow.

Now living in another state the nurses are no better. They have almost killed my husband three times. Tell me what is wrong when a huge blood clot bursts around a pacemaker and the attending nurse runs from the room not to return until after his wife (myself put on rubber gloves, cleaned up the mess and worked to get the blood out without breaking the skin that is holding the device in place) Then the surgeon comes in making the statement "whoever cleaned that up really did a good job!!" with a surprised look! My hubby said it was me, his wife and what the nurses did! Then after doc left the new nurse of the day opened the bandage to look and I explained there was only a tiny bead size amount of blackened blood that I could not get out and what did she do??? Popped the skin covering the pacemaker like it was a pimple!!! Now the skin begins to recede allowing the pacemaker to fall out! They were told to change this bandage and wash this wound hourly, they did not...... My husband who had an internal staph infection with a mechanical heart valve being raced to California where they tried to send him without me!! (as soon as I left to pack they told me I was not allowed to see my own husband!) I returned whether they liked it or not to find out they had changed the time he was to leave so that I could not follow behind the ambulance to be with them. This ambulance that was "oh so important" had zero air conditioning in 100 degree weather, the three "boys" who took them said they would drive slowly so I would not lose them and almost had me killed before we left the hospital! They also stopped in the middle of the oh so important transport for a potty break and look at the sites of Lake Tahoe! He was so sick our attny came to the hospital, and he was given his last rights.

People in the past became nurses because they were people like myself that honestly cared. People who used their common sense. People who treated patients and families with empathy! Not go into the profession souly for the steady paycheck and job security! If you are a nurse....a real nurse....leave the pancake makeup and jewels at home! If that is what you are into go into makeup aritistry or the fashion world instead! Leave real nursing to those of us who care! All you are doing is turning the people who would be excellent at it away because we don't want to around your superficiality, your ineptness to your job, or spending a day with your petty gossip! Those of you who I described should be ashamed of yourself!

Being a pharmacy tech may make half the money, but I am damn happier than having to watch you literally kill patients or their families that your treat so rudely! The nurses in my state come from high schools that rank 50th in our country, so that means compared to my high school education these women graduated with an 8th grade education, not a 12th grade one! I hate where I live along with all the snotty know nothing nurses that should never be let into a college to begin with!

The gameplay was good, I liked the suit powers and the customization you can do to your suit and weapons. It takes a while to get into it but after that it was fantastic. The story was alright, personally I dont think it was worthy of the hype crytek gave it.

You shouldnt really need one. A-10 supports Hotas mapping. Just pop open the manual to the pages showing the actual A-10 HOTAS and then in the sim map each real HOTAS input to the matching control on the X-65. Not talking about mapping commands and keys here, but actually mapping the actual HOTAS controls to your own stick. That way when the function of a HOTAS control changes due to aircraft state and mode, so does the same physical control on your stick.
