No one sets out in life to become a C.O. It's only after failing in multiple endeavors that people fall back on being a professional babysitter. The percentage of Corrections Officers with college degrees is pitifully small. The blue brotherhood is just another glorified gang. No altruism. No sense of community. Hopefully one day DOC will get wise to the inferior specimens overseeing the prisons and make drastic changes.
