I am very interested in the Abacos. I am presently doing a project on the islands for a class in school. I have been planning a trip for this project. If you have any pictures of the islands, they would definitely come in handy. Thank you

I spent 3 months in the "Abacos" on my sailboat and found this guy's comments on the area somewhat offensive and negative. It's a beautiful place where anyone with innerpeace and a love for nature will find happiness. The people are some of the friendliest I've met anywhere in my travels. Respect is held in very high regard all through the Bahamas. All it takes is a smile and a good attitude to meet wonderful, helpful people...Bahamians & others. While there I sailed, enjoyed the pristine beaches, attended some "events" such as the weekly Pig-roast get-togethers, a blue-moon/full-moon alice in wonderland party in Little Harbour, and a Junkanoo in Marsh Harbour. During certain times of the year there are sailboat races, also there are a few big fishing tournaments.
