I went to montego bay to get married to my wife heidi. we had a blast. we stayed at breezes and loved it. it was all- inclusive which was nice because we had planned our buget for food and drinks but come to find out it was all part of the trip. The wedding was free, we did it right on the beach. It was the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen. The people were so nice and always knew how to make a crowd laugh. We are planning on going back on our 5 year anniversary
Does the author have spell check? Judging from the lack of her spelling and writing skills, I wouldn't guess her story all that believable.
I've been to Jamaica 14 times and you

obviously have a phobia and I think I know what it is.

Also, your grammar/spelling, get

I recently visited Jamaica. It was very EXPENSIVE!!!! I bought a Pina Colada for $8.00. I can't believe that they even have that service charge.
My husband and I stayed at Jack Tar in Montego Bay in May, it was our honeymoon. We had a blast and all inclusive is definetly the way to go. I can't wait to go back!

Weren't you scared? Did you go off of the resort? We took a cruise and they told us (the Jamicans on the bus tours) that we should watch our backs and we would be offered drugs, etc.
We plan on going to Ochos Rios next Sunday, our 2nd Anniversary. I wish we had known that all inclusive was the way to go. We've budjeted for food and drinks but I wonder how much a thousand will go when a drink costs $8. Anyways we do plan on going down Dunn's River Falls! Will write back when it all comes to pass.

Lena, you don't go down the Falls, you climb up. I actually went down for a little ways. I fell. It's a blast though. We were there on a Missions trip and met so many wonderful Jamaicans. We stayed in Kingston, the capitol, but visited Ocho Rios and the falls for a day. The uniformed children in the schools were a treat. Full of hugs and kisses. Beautiful loving children. Hope to return some day to see Donovan, Tenesia, Calvin, and Sophie again.

Two more things. The food is great, and you can drink the water, lots of it, without getting sick.

Has anyone been to Club Ortanique? Are there any Casino games at these resorts? My husband and I will be in Jamaica 3/27-4/3 - I'm a little nervous.

I agree with everything except feeling unsafe around town. I feel very safe in Jamaica (especially in Ochi), and if you relax you will find that most of the time the Jamaicans are on your side. I recommend a villa stay. Why would you travel to another country just to be locked up with a bunch of other americans and europeans? At a villa you have your own cook, housekeeper, etc. and most of all PRIVACY - plus you might actually learn something about Jamaica. And the food...to die for. We have all had hotel food in the states, and sometimes its good, but nothing like a home cooked meal (3 times a day + happy hour), well its the same in Jamaica. You have not eaten until you have had Clover's cooking...or whoever your cook may be.

I enjoyed the information shared by the original writer. Our family is we will be in Ochos Rios in 3 weeks for a family reunion and it will be a new experience. Those who commented about the spelling etc of the writer must have never experienced such excitement about anything that their minds create faster than their fingers can type.

For my birthday I went to Montego Bay Jamaica four days and three nights. I stayed at Sunset beach resort and luved it. I would love to return to sunset beach the food and drinks were good. The beaches were beautiful, the flowers were beautiful. We had a great tour bus driver very friendly. I do wish I took more cash.
