How about dealing with Boards of Nursing? Try to get through to a human being in New Jersey. You'll be stuck in voice mail jail. I had a license in Jersey in 2003. I chose to inactivate it when given the option to do so because I was working in a different state. They cautioned me to check off the inactive box and mail it back to NJ or else I would be considered a lapsed license. Well, in order to reactivate it, I have to fill out a lengthly lapsed license application and pay them $400.00. They should pay me $400 to work as a nurse in NJ. I should have never went to college and just got a job as a secretary for NJ. Then I would have a big fat pension and job security.
