It is not such a good title afterall….Marine

I am a Marine in the United States Marine Corps and in my opinion it is nothing like I thought it would be.

First I would just like to say that as long as there is a United States military slavery will never end. Because you are property of the U.S. Government.

I enlisted for college money like many others and I will be getting out next year but sometimes I think I should’ve took another route. I have been in three years. I am not happy I feel like a slave like I am not me I am just another body that someone controls.

The thing that bothers me the most about the Marines is the way they do promotions and they way people act when they do. It seems the most physically fit people always get promoted but mentally are very incompetent individuals. The Marines is definetly more physical then mental which explains why the military is the way it is today and people are getting out and people don’t want to come in.

I am taking advantage of the college benefits I am getting and I will graduate with my Bachelors in Engineering in two years. In five years I hope to have my own engineering company in Atlanta, GA. So I guess in the long run the Marines have used me but I have used them also but before anyone picks them make sure you can take the shit before you get deep in it and can’t get out because it is very politcal meaning it’s a shady and cruel business with a lot of backstabbers and self-centered people.
