Fast Food Cashier……silly stuff
I am a cashier at a fast food restaurant. Getting their orders…umm…making sure
that…it’s like some silly stuff…making sure that their order is right. Ok…making
sure that they are satisfied on the product of…you know…the food…and the
quantity…whatever..whatever, whatever….that’s about it.
I took the job because I need money. I’ve been doing it for almost 5 months…6. I got
the job cuz, I’m qualified <giggle>…just playin around…because they needed my
help. I keep doing it because I’ve got no choice…just kidding….the money…or I should
say, I don’t have so much choice…especially with school to go with it.
I like it…except when they are asking me to close…or work…or when they are giving
me a schedule that’s not suitable on my time. I like the food…I like the chilis…their
food is very delicious. 1 more good thing about it…if you’re not working and you go
there, you can have some free foods…solidly hidden….
My coworkers? Some of them are cool but some of them are so bossy…especially
guys…like discrimination. My bosses are bossy. What don’t I
like?…bossiness…discrimination….I don’t like closing because …it takes time…I
mean <yawn>…because…theres a lot of things to be done.
Accomplishment? You get it in a habit…the way you will know that you know
better…they put someone in there for you to train so that’s how you know your
ability…..
I’m now taking classes in nursing. In 5 years…I’ll probably be
married..<thinks> ….no..stable..done in school…career minded. In 30 years,
gosh…so…how old am I now? 21?…I’ll be 51 years old by then. probably have
kids…umm…have a house in the Philippines…like a resort…of course, getting
old..skin are getting saggy. Maybe I’ll have a mini-store…that’s it.

the meat is put into a small frezzer at the side of the grills so it remains frozen. the meat is layed onto the grill with a gloved hand and is taken off with spatilas and tongues. <br />
they dress the products with fresh food like lettuce, tomatos, pickles which comes from big manufactures like Del monte and sun valley.<br />
When the food is prepared it is wrapped it is plced in a production bin which is that big metal thing that holds the food behind the counter, this is set above<br />
65 degrees C. outside ideal bacterial growth range.<br />

Mcdonlds used own McCain thats where they get there fries from!!!<br />

They have to check dates on stock every day, temps of the food that comes off the grill 3times a day. if it doesnt reach temp it gets thrown away. <br />
Also when you see managers<br />
throwing burgers into a red bin, they do this so poor quality food is not served to U. u probably have thought in the pst i ll have that why is he throwing it away. welll it doesnt taste right so we cant serve it. <br />

they have a book in most stores that tells you exctly whats in there food.<br />

I work as a crew member at McDonalds in Edinburgh. My store is the best place 2 work and has a great atmosphere. We get regular gapbusters 3 times a month and if things were that bad then we wouldnt get the marks that we have been gettin for the quality of food. We almost every month get 100% for the quality of our food. So not all McDonalds are the same. Infact mines is a great store. We have a good laugh enjoy what we do and make sure that our customers get what they deserve great QS&C.
